bai putik, lugi. i realized a musician shouldn’t be bothered by the business side of the music he is making. it’s counterproductive to create and play music while you’re bothered where to get money for the next recording. both business and music suffer.
..max is a good friend here sa newsroom.

if i can’t have any new song recorded this year, then MAYBE i’ll go for the book. but i have two problems:
1) wa koy salig nga ang akong mga columns angayan i-compile. i read other people’s columns, the real good ones, and i tell myself, ’shet why can’t i write like that?’ writing for me is so laborious that i’m not sure if it has produced anything worth publishing in book form.
2) wa koy kwarta.
the first can be remedied by ‘pabaga sa nawong’; the second, manulis ko og bangko – two things i don’t intend to do right now.
