When a dog bites a man, that is not news, because it happens so often. But if a man bites a dog, that is news!

“Dog bites man” type of stories are not as interesting as “Man bites dog”. “Man bites dog” stories surface, printed, talk about because these deviate from normal flow of events.

However, I stand that responsible journalist must not report all-bad news ONLY nor the all-good news only. There must be balance. Information is crucial especially to democratic society like ours. Thus, we need responsible journalist who just don’t stick to old dictum “bad news is best headline”
